Perched on a hilltop in the central Serengeti with sweeping views to the west, Lahia opened in 2019 as the newest camp from Tanganyika Wilderness Camps. The main house enjoys a full 360° panorama and a pool that seems to hang above the plains.
Twenty-five spacious tents sit on raised wooden platforms, each with a private terrace, a bathtub and an outdoor shower open to the sky. The camp is well placed for the Seronera Valley, the kopjes and the Grumeti River, and dinner is served under the stars when the weather allows.
